Happy New Year!

We’re excited to see you back in the swim of things. The holidays are filled with emotional ups and downs: spending time with friends, family/loved ones, good food and drink. Once the holidays die down sometimes we’re left with overwhelming emotions of resolutions all the way to sadness our friends and family are gone or we packed on a few pounds. During this time it’s really important to retreat into the BWAQ Community and surround yourself with healthy and active friends who support you. We all know a good swim surrounded by good people makes everything better.

Always remember: if your stressed you are welcome, if you want a good workout, you will get it, if you want support ,you are supported and if you set goals, you will achieve them with the support of your team and coaches.

Consistency is the key to truly enjoying swimming, Consistency is where you start feeling the improvements in your stroke, health and happiness. A simple goal of being consistent will make accomplishing your swim/health goals easier than you’d  think.

Congratulations Mike Murphy!!!

Mike completed his second goal of swimming 653 miles in 2017 (600 miles was his first goal) and entry into the Scott Mathews Fan Club.
